You’ll be asked to share your teaching background, hourly rate, preferred student ages and subjects. Please have your state teaching certificate, college transcript and/or other credentials available for uploading!

This is the profile that local families will use to consider your services. You’ll want to upload a photo, set your hourly rate and give some thought to your headline and description, so you make a great first impression.
Once you sign up for a free account, you can access our tutoring application from our website.
It usually takes 15-20 minutes if you have your materials handy. (You’re also welcome to save it and finish it later.) We’ll review your submission and contact you within two business days to let you know whether you’ve made it to the next step.
We’ll work around your schedule for the phone interview and take care of your background check. This can take as little as 24 hours (most typical) or up to two weeks, depending on how long it takes to receive your background check results.
If you’re a great fit, you’ll sign the paperwork, set up your calendar availability and start seeing your profile show up in search results. You’ll get your own profile page online, so you can proactively market yourself, too. (Facebook is a great tool!)
